FBC Travel Committee

What We Do

• Promotes and plans travel to away games
• Provides the membership with travel information including, where possible, hotel and air info
• Coordinates and hosts away game travelers
• Obtains group tickets when feasible
• Works with staff to set up away game "tents"

Volunteer Needs

The Travel Committee needs members and volunteers for the following:

• Department Chair. We need a person to chair this department.
• Trip Coordinators. Coordinators serve as the point of contact for a road trip (e.g. to Arizona, Oregon, etc.)
  • Collect Names and contact data of travelers
  • If possible, purchase game tickets for fans who are traveling
  • Answer travel questions from traveling boosters
  • Act as a local host or designates someone else to be the local host
  • Ask a fellow fan to write a trip summary report for the newsletter and this website
• Local Hosts. Answer questions while traveling and help boosters connect with one another
• Cal Bus Organizer + helpers. We need people willing to work at the FBC table to collect registration forms and money. Also we need people to help on the day of the game as bus monitors, to check in people, etc.
• Travel Scrapbook. We need a person to help compile a travel scrapbook with pictures and articles
