2009 Kirk Points & Player of the Year (started 2004) The Stanford Men's Golf Club uses points earned for tournament play to determine our player of the year and to select the 4 participants for the NCGA team matches held at Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills the following year. The table below indicates the points that can be earned in each event, subject to change in format. The points system is named in honor of Bill Kirk because his love of the game, dedication to the Men's Club, and excellent tournament play exemplified the type of person the Board wishes to honor with this award.
